Monday's Prayer Closet: It's Not Over Yet
It’s Not Over Yet
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10
There are times and seasons in our lives, some are wonderful, some are scary, and some are the hardest we will ever go through; but I thank the Lord of the assurance that He will walk with me in every season of my life.
A good friend made the comment one time that instead of throwing in the towel, she just wants to burn it. I can’t tell you how many times I have felt the same way. Discouragement, stress, loss, it all hits you in the gut. Life turns upside down, and you want to do everything you can to get rid of that towel. But in my prayer time God showed me, I wasn’t to burn that towel, but I was to wipe my face because i was almost over the finish line.
What I thought was destroyed and dead really isn’t. He showed me that I am to walk in a new season in my life that He provides the strength for. This is only the beginning and when God is in, all things are new. It is a little scary to give up control, but He never promised that faith is an easy walk. He did promise to hold us up in His victorious hand!!!
It's not over yet!!!
Oh, to everyone who's hit their limit
It's not over yet
It's not over ye-et
And even when you think you're finished
It's not over yet
It's not over ye-et
Oh, game set match
It's time to put it in your past, oh
Feel the winter leavin'
It's redemption season
Long live the young at heart (Here we are)
Cheers to a brand new start (Here we are)
We're revived and breathing
To live a life of freedom
Keep on fighting
Out of the dark
Into the light
It's not over
Hope is rising
Never give in
Never give up
It's not over
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 NIV
