The Awe of God (a poem by my 15 yr old son)

 The Awe of God

I praise you my Lord,

King of Kings,

The Lord of Creation,

I will stand in Awe and Fear of You.

You are Salvation.

I surrender my life to 

all my being, 

to the wonder that you are.

I give thank when I look up 

at the heavens, 

which You created and

stand in awe of the beauty

You have made.

But still, I am in more in awe

at the price you have paid.

That you the Glorious and

Almighty Ruler of all,

would give up your glory

for me.

I am in Awe of You.
