DLD: 1 Peter 5:8-9

 Digging a little deeper:

Be aware, calm, collected and actively watch, giving strict attention (less one fall into sin) of what is around you. Your adversary accuser (the one estranging man from God, enticing them to sin, afflicting with disease through the demons, the malignant enemy of God) walks around at large like a fierce predator searching to find anyone that he can utterly destroy.

Set your self against him, strong and unmoved in your belief and trust in Jesus, because you understand and perceive that every one of our brothers and sisters (that live with Jesus as Lord) here on earth, is experiencing the evil affliction (of the enemy trying to destroy them also).

(Extra dig: Our enemy wants our total destruction. He doesn’t care about the unbeliever, he already has them. He comes at us with persecution, strong temptation, irreverence and accusations against God. But he is going to hide his destruction, make it look sweet, that is why we much watch diligently and actively for his schemes.They are not going to blatant in your face. But we can stand firm in Jesus, be prayered up, be in our Bibles; to fight against him. We need to do this not only for us but our families, both natural and spiritual because they are going through the same fight as we are.)
