DLD- 2 Corinthians 9:6

 Digging a little deeper:

He who plants (seeds for the Kingdom, for growth especially by scattering) stingingly will also receive their (material and heavenly blessings) reward stingingly, and he who plants (seeds of time, finances, resources: ie prayer, our giftings, service, fellowship) over and above, will be rewarded over and above. 2 Corinthians 9:6

(Extra dig: we plant in the Kingdom of God, not looking at right now, not holding so we have more later, not holding back to take care of ourselves, but we plant with future anticipation of what God will do and how he uses our seed to minister in the body and bring people to the body. We are a part of the body of Christ and each part needs to be healthy, using our gifts, callings and resources is what we need to do. Lastly, remember in verse 7, He tells us, He loves a cheerful giver, from cheerful in Greek we get hilarious/ happy. He wants us to give with a spirit of happiness because that is how He gives himself and His blessings to us. True giving comes from a happy heart and gives with a happy heart.)
