 Digging a little deeper:

Every person who is open to perceive (understand and listen) to My messages, counsels, and promises, and follows them (with the same mind/ purpose) is the same as a man showing prudent insight and sound judgement to lay his foundation properly onto the firm, unmoving ground.

Extra dig: The trials and storms we face in life will come at us. That is when the hidden foundation (our faith, confession, belief in Jesus) that we build our lives on will be proven. Will it stand or will it fall? Did we build on the One True God or a counterfeit one that we made up to fit into our life, tickle our ears and pull out of the box when we needed him? After that storm, what will be our testimony that the world will see? Did it get washed away with the storm or did it glorify Our God?
