DLD- John 1:14
Digging a little deeper:
God’s wisdom and power which created the universe and all creation within, put on the attributes of human nature, in the person of Jesus to obtain our salvation and remained for a time with us (mankind). Mankind gazed upon His goodness (the beauty of His Spirit), the absolutely perfect personal excellence of Christ Jesus, (the only one incarnation) brought into existence by the Creator of the universe, complete of loving- kindness and favor to men (in unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their sanctification) and absolute revelation.
Extra Dig: God the Father of Jesus Christ, as one whom God has united to himself in the closest bond of love and intimacy, made acquainted with his purposes, appointed to explain and carry out among men the plan of salvation, and made to share also in his own divine nature.
Jesus in flesh, denotes mere human nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence. He is divine (By his divine presence he always was in the world) but laid aside his divinity for a time, to be the perfect man, to be the perfect sacrifice because he was the only man without sin, the only sacrifice that could ever atone for all mankind.
See Matthew Henry commentary :
* First, He has a fulness of grace and truth for himself; he had the Spirit without measure. He was full of grace, fully acceptable to his Father, and therefore qualified to intercede for us; and full of truth, fully apprized of the things he was to reveal, and therefore fit to instruct us. He had a fulness of knowledge and a fulness of compassion.
* Secondly, He has a fulness of grace and truth for us. He received, that he might give, and God was well pleased in him, that he might be well pleased with us in him; and this was the truth of the legal types.
(This scripture leads me deeper into study but is so worth the time and effort spent to study for this new revelation of knowledge. I pray it enlightens and blesses you too.)
